Do you have unused or expired medications you need to dispose of? Now there’s an easy way to get them out of the house safely and responsibly!
In conjunction with the Shaler Township Police Department, SNHL will serve as a collection site for any unused, unwanted, or expired medications. This is an environmentally safe way to dispose of medications.
Also, concerned that your license plate is illegible? The Shaler Township Police can verify and assist you with the form to get a replacement from PennDOT.
· Medications from households and residences are accepted, whether prescription or over-the-counter.
· Medications may be disposed of in the original container or in a sealed plastic bag.
· Liquids must remain in the original container.
· Vaping cartridges accepted.
· No needles, syringes or lancets.
Please have your medications in a bag and stay in your vehicle. Drop off will be conducted as a drive-through in the Library parking lot. Watch for signage.
Please DO NOT bring medications earlier! Library staff are NOT permitted to accept any medications. If you are unable to make it on this Saturday, ask for a flyer about dropping off at the Shaler Police Department building.
