Tween Battle of the Books—Wednesday, July 30 at 6:00 p.m. for those ages 8-12 plus 1 super special grown-up per team. Read four books and get ready to engage in a joyous battle of knowledge! Fun and prizes will be included! Correct answers as well as Team Spirit will be awarded! The titles to be read are: Plain Jane and the Mermaid by Vera Brosgol, Dog Trouble by Kristin Varner, The Skull by Jon Klassen, and The Cartoonists Club by Raina Telgemeier & Scott McCloud. Registration for your team is required and will open Monday, June 9th. Please stop by the Children's Department to do so and pick up your team's set of books!
