Event Details

Michael Penn, coordinator for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at Shaler Area Elementary School spent six weeks in late 2018 at McMurdo and South Pole Station in Antarctica as part of the Polar Teachers and Researchers Exploring and Collaborating program, or PolarTREC. He traveled Antarctica studying and collecting data on Antarctic Meteorology and Climate science. Mr. Penn will be at the Library to share his experiences with the community. Join us!
